EDRP First Tool to recover Apple iWork Password

Elcomsoft have just updated EDRP tool to support the Apple iWork program, now it is possible using this update to recover iWork security passoword and read the document without loosing any information or data.

The encryption used by iWork is AES 128-bit key that makes it almost impossible to crack , but this software work by submitting several millions of passwords in a second to find the correct one and open the document, this mean that time to recover the password is depending on type of password used , so if you have a number based one or only letters this is a weak one and it makes it very fast to guess like millisecond.

The application speed will count on GPU acceleration performance so if you use tesla s1070 you will have 2000 million MD5 passwords attempt per second while GTX 295 can handle only 920 million MD5 passwords per second.

The tool can handle other file forms beside Apple iWork including Lotus Notes ID, Mozilla, Firefox, Thunderbird, BlackBerry Desktop Software (6.0+ for Windows, 2.0+ for Mac) and more.  The price is 599 USD for up to 20 clients and you can run it on Windows 7 (32 bit), Windows 7 (64 bit), Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows Vista (32 bit), Windows Vista (64 bit), and Windows XP with a 70 MB of free HD space.
