Bypassing Lockscreen Vulnerability on Ubuntu 14.04 Patched

On the 16th of April a vulnerability report has been issued for Ubuntu operating system that allow user to bypass lock screen interface password protection. The system can be accessed without authorization, payload or any code while all what you need to do is just to hold the ENTER button which seems to be unusual attack. The time to unlock the operating system is about 30 second which is relatively not long.

The security vulnerability already patched on the next day while developers describe the vulnerability to be a result for several modifications in the screensaver code and basic application. If you are using Ubuntu 14.04 operating system make sure to apply the patch and fix this critical vulnerability.
